A Gol Transportes Aereos Boeing 737-700, registration PR-GOW performing flight
G3-1268 from Sao Paulo Guarulhos,SP to Navegantes,SC (Brazil) with 101 passengers and 5 crew, was climbing through FL130 out of Guarulhos' runway 09L when the crew received a "HIGH EGT" warning for the left hand engine (CFM56), stopped the climb and decided to return to Guarulhos Airport although the warning soon stopped. The aircraft landed safely back on runway 09R about 20 minutes after departure.
A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration PR-GUJ reached Navegantes with a delay of 100 minutes.
The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 19.5 hours after landing.
