A Gol Transportes Aereos Boeing 737-800, registration PR-GTE performing flight
G3-1111 from Maringa,PR to Sao Paulo Guarulhos,SP (Brazil), was climbing out of Maringa's runway 10 when the crew stopped the climb at 5000 feet reporting they were unable to fully retract the flaps. The aircraft returned to Maringa for a safe landing at a normal speed on runway 10 about 40 minutes after departure.
The airline confirmed a technical problem with the flaps.
The aircraft returned to service about 28 hours after landing back.
