An Iberia Airbus A350-900, registration EC-NDR performing flight IB-6586 from Bogota (Colombia) to Madrid,SP (Spain), was on final approach to Madrid's runway 32L descending through about 1000 feet AGL when a vulture impacted the aircraft's nose. The aircraft continued for a safe landing about 90 seconds later. The aircraft's nose was cracked with the dead vulture trapped.

The aircraft is still on the ground about 4 hours after landing.
