A Jet2.com Boeing 757-200, registration G-LSAK performing flight
LS-891 from Manchester,EN (UK) to Arrecife,CI (Spain), was enroute at FL340 about 30nm southeast of Cork (Ireland) when the crew decided to return to Manchester reporting a problem with one of the aircraft doors. The aircraft descended to FL330 for the return, burned off fuel and landed safely on Manchester's runway 05R about 2:15 hours after departure.
A replacement Boeing 757-200 registration G-LSAC reached Arrecife with a delay of about 6:15 hours.
The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 6 hours, then performed a test flight and is still on the ground in Manchester about 24 hours after landing after the test flight.
