A Jetblue Embraer ERJ-190, registration N339JB performing flight
B6-481 from Washington National,DC to Fort Myers,FL (USA), was climbing out of Washington's runway 19 when the crew requested to stop the climb at "maybe 3000 feet" indicating they could not get their gear up. Tower advised other aircraft there had been a bird strike. The crew decided to divert to Baltimore,MD and landed safely on runway 10 about 20 minutes after departure.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Baltimore about 16 hours after landing.
