A LATAM Chile Boeing 767-300, registration CC-CXI performing flight
LA-2477 (dep Nov 21st) from Los Angeles,CA (USA) to Lima (Peru), was enroute at FL330 about 270nm northwest of Guayaquil (Ecuador) when the crew decided to divert to Guayaquil reporting an electrical failure. The aircraft landed safely on Guayaquil's runway 21 about 45 minutes later.
Ecuador's DGAC reported the aircraft made a preventive technical stop.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Guayaquil about 5 hours after landing.
