A LIAT20 Embraer ERJ-145, registration 5N-BUV performing flight GAO-327 from Bridgetown (Barbados) to Georgetown (Guyana), was enroute at FL310 about 130nm south of Bridgetown when the crew initiated an emergency descent to FL100 due to the loss of cabin pressure. The aircraft subsequently turned around to return to Bridgetown for a safe landing on runway 09 about 65 minutes after departure.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Bridgetown about 15 hours after landing.
