A LOT Polish Airlines de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration SP-EQC performing flight
LO-223 from Warsaw (Poland) to Vienna (Austria), was enroute at FL240 about 40nm west of Krakow (Poland) when the crew decided to divert to Krakow advising ATC of a malfunction of the cockpit door. The aircraft landed safely in Krakow about 15 minutes later.
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 35 minutes, then continued the flight and reached Vienna with a delay of one hour.
The aircraft also performed the return flight LO-224 to Warsaw and is currently still on the ground in Warsaw about 7 hours after landing in Warsaw.
