A Maersk Air Cargo Boeing 767-300 freighter, registration OY-SRU performing flight DJ-6119 from Athens (Greece) to Munich (Germany), departed Athens' runway 03R, climbed to FL400 enroute and landed on Munich's runway 08R about 2:20 hours after departure seemingly without incident.
A post flight inspection revealed however that the right hand engine (CF6) had ingested birds. The aircraft was thus unable to depart for its next sector to Cologne on time. After remaining on ground for about 12 hours the aircraft departed and reached Cologne with a delay of about 11.5 hours.
