A Norwegian Air Shuttle Boeing 737-800, registration LN-NGD performing flight DY-9323 from Las Palmas,CI (Spain) to Stavanger (Norway), was on approach to Stavanger when the crew stopped the descent at 3000 feet and entered a hold due to problems with the flaps. The crew subsequently prepared for a flaps up landing, positioned for an approach to Stavanger's runway 18 about 30 minutes later and landed safely at high speed (193 knots over ground). The aircraft stopped at the end of the runway for about 5 minutes before continuing taxi to the apron.
The aircraft returned to service about 14 hours after landing.
