A PIA Pakistan International Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration AP-BLU performing flight PK-218 from Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) to Peshawar (Pakistan), was enroute at FL350 about 120nm north of Karachi (Pakistan) when the crew decided to divert to Karachi due to a hydraulic fault. The aicraft landed safely on Karachi's runway 25L about 25 minutes later.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 8.5 hours, then continued the flight and reached Peshawar with a delay of about 9.5 hours.
