A Serve Air Boeing 737-300 freighter, registration 9S-AAI performing a flight from Kindu to Kinshasa (DR Congo), was departing Kindu's runway 36 when the right main gear collapsed causing the aircraft to veer right. The crew managed to keep the aircraft on the runway and stop it. The aircraft became disabled on the runway, the left inboard tyre was damaged as well.
DR Congo's BPEA reported they have dispatched a team of investigators on site involving an occurrence with 9S-AAI on takeoff from Kindu to Kinshasa.
