A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration N556WN performing flight
WN-1685 from Las Vegas,NV to Tulsa,OK (USA), was climbing through FL180 out of Las Vegas when the crew decided to return to Las Vegas reporting smell of smoke on board. The aircraft landed safely back on Las Vegas' runway 26L about 25 minutes after departure.
The airline reported there was an unusual smell on board, maintenance investigated and found no anomaly. A replacement aircraft conducted the flight.
A replacement Boeing 737-700 registration N483WN reached Tulsa with a delay of about 3 hours.
A passenger reported there had been smell of smoke in the cabin.
