A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration N8551Q performing flight WN-4277 from Denver,CO to Oakland,CA (USA), was climbing out of Denver's runway 25 when the crew stopped the climb at about 12,000 feet and decided to return to Denver reporting the cabin did not properly pressurize. The aircraft positioned for a safe landing on runway 16R about 35 minutes after departure.

The airline reported the cabin failed to fully pressurize.

The aircraft returned to service about 9 hours after landing.
