A TAROM Boeing 737-700, registration YR-BGG performing flight RO-381 from Bucharest Otopeni (Romania) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (France), was enroute at FL320 about 130nm northwest of Bucharest when the crew decided to return to Bucharest advising ATC they had a problem with their packs. The aircraft descended to FL310 for the return and landed safely on Bucharest's runway 26L about 30 minutes after the decision to return.

The rotation was cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto alternate flights.

The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 8 hours after landing back.
