A Terra Avia Boeing 747-400 on behalf of Garuda Indonesia, registration ER-BOS performing flight GA-1105 from Makassar (Indonesia) to Madinah (Saudi Arabia) with 450 pilgrims on board, was rotating for departure from Makassar's runway 21 when the #4 engine (outboard right hand, PW4056) emitted one loud bang and streaks of flames. The crew continued the takeoff, climbed to safe altitude and returned to Makassar for a safe landing.
