A Transavia Boeing 737-800, registration PH-HXF performing flight
HV-6001 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Porto (Portugal), was climbing out of Amsterdam's runway 09 when the crew stopped the climb at FL170 advising ATC they did have a minor problem with the cabin pressurization and were talking to company dispatch and maintenance. The crew subsequently advised maintenance wanted them back in Amsterdam, requested to descent to FL140 to burn off fuel, and landed safely back on Amsterdam's runway 18R about 50 minutes after departure.
A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration PH-HSI reached Porto with a delay of about 3:15 hours.
The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 5 hours after landing.
