A Uni Air Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration B-17016 performing flight B7-8912 from Kinmen to Kaohsiung (Taiwan) with 9 passengers and 4 crew, was climbing out of Kinmen's runway 06 when the crew stopped the climb at about 5000 feet due to an engine (PW127M) indication. The aircraft returned to Kinmen for a safe landing on runway 06 about 30 minutes after departure.

The airport reported the aircraft returned to Kinmen due to an abnormal signal indicating an engine anomaly.

The aircraft is still on the ground about 43 hours after landing back.
