A United Airbus A320-200, registration N480UA performing flight UA-1627 from Houston Intercontinental,TX to Washington National,DC (USA), was on approach to Washington when the crew reported hydraulic problems. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Washington's runway 19.

The FAA reported: "United Airlines Flight 1627 landed safely at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport around 10:55 p.m. local time on Wednesday, April 2, after the crew reported a possible hydraulic issue. The Airbus A320 departed from George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. The FAA will investigate."

The aircraft returned to service about 9 hours after landing.
