A United Boeing 737-800, registration N39297 performing flight
UA-166 from Fukuoka (Japan) to Guam (Guam) with 50 people on board, was climbing out of Fukuoka's runway 16 when the crew stopped the climb at 10,000 feet reporting a problem with the flaps. The aircraft returned to Fukuoka for a safe landing on runway 16 about 40 minutes after departure.
The flight was cancelled.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Fukuoka about 16 hours after landing back.
