A United Boeing 757-200, registration N21108 performing flight
UA-2307 from Denver,CO to Lihue,HI (USA), was on final approach to Lihue's runway 35 when the crew initiated a go around at about 1200 feet MSL due to problems with the flaps. The aircraft positioned for another approach and landed on runway 35 at a normal speed about 20 minutes later.
A passenger reported the gear was extended but the flaps seemed to be stuck at 15 degrees, the aircraft went around. The crew left the flaps extended, announced they had a flaps problem but were able to fix it. The aircraft landed with emergency services on standby, the services checked the brakes. The flaps were left extended until after reaching the stand.
