A UPS United Parcel Service Boeing 767-300 freighter, registration N375UP performing freight flight 5X-905 (dep May 14th) from Long Beach,CA to Louisville,KY (USA), was on approach to Louisville's runway 35L descending through about 6000 feet, when the crew advised they may have had a bird strike, they just heard a loud bang but didn't see it. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 35L about 10 minutes later.

The FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT STRUCK A BIRD LEAVING A LARGE DENT IN THE RADOME, LOUISVILLE, KY."

The aircraft returned to service about 37 hours after landing.
