A Vistara Airbus A320-200N, registration VT-TQH performing flight UK-788 from Bhubaneswar to Delhi (India) with 169 people on board, was climbing out of Bhubaneswar's runway 14 when the crew stopped the climb at FL210 after suffering a hail strike causing a cracked windshield. The aircraft returned to Bhubaneswar for a safe landing on runway 32 about 30 minutes after departure. The aircraft sustained additional hail damage around including the radome.

Bhubaneswar Airport reported the aircraft requested priority about 10 minutes after departure after the aircraft sustained a crack in the windshield along with other damage to the structure.
