A Vistara Airbus A320-200N, registration VT-TYF performing flight UK-612 from Jammu to Srinagar (India), was on approach to Srinagar's runway 31 when a bird impacted the aircraft. The aircraft continued for a safe landing.

The aircraft however was unable to continue its schedule, the onward sector to Delhi thus was delayed by about 6 hours. The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Srinagar about 32 hours after landing.

A replacement A320-200N registration VT-TYG positioned to Srinagar and performed the onward sector from Srinagar to Delhi arriving in Delhi with a delay of about 6 hours.
