A Westjet Boeing 737-8, registration C-FULJ pereforming flight WS-755 (dep Aug 13th) from Toronto,ON to Regina,SK (Canada) with 153 people on board, was descending towards Regina when the crew observed a right hand engine (LEAP) oil filter bypass indication and shut the engine down as a precaution. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Regina's runway 13.
The Canadian TSB reported that the engine needs to be replaced.
The occurrence aircraft returned to service on Aug 24th 2026.
