A Wings Air Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration PK-WJT performing flight
IW-1646 from Jayapura to Dekai (Indonesia) with 36 people on board, was on approach to runway 07 at Dekai when the aircraft was being shot at, the bullet penetrated the fuselage and exited inside the aircraft at seat row 19a-c. The aircraft continued for a safe landing. There are no reported injuries.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Dekai about 8 hours after landing.
