An Aerolineas Argentinas Boeing 737-800, registration LV-FWS performing flight
AR-1654 from Buenos Aires Aeroparque,BA to Neuquen,NE (Argentina), was on a visual approach to Neuquen's runway 09 turning final when the crew reported a problem with the flaps and requested delay vectors to work their checklists. The crew subsequenty advised they would land at a higher than normal speed, positioned for another approach to runway 09 and landed on runway 09 about 20 minutes after aborting the first approach.
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 80 minutes, then departed for the return flight.
