An Aerolineas Argentinas Boeing 737-800, registration LV-FWS performing flight AR-1883 from Ushuaia,TF to Buenos Aires Aeroparque,BA (Argentina), was climbing out of the Ushuaia's runway 07 when the crew stopped the climb at 9000 feet. The aircraft entered a hold to burn off fuel and returned to Ushuaia for a safe landing on runway 25 at a higher than normal speed about 65 minutes after departure.

Information received from the airport indicates the aircraft had suffered asymmetric flaps. However, the crew reported in flight, that the equipment door had remained open, therefore the aircraft could not be pressurized prompting the crew to return to Ushuaia.
