AD-2492 from Ribeirao Preto,SP to Recife,PE (Brazil) with 82 passengers and 6 crew, was enroute at FL390 about 100nm north of Sao Paulo Viracopos,SP (Brazil) when the crew decided to divert to Viracopos due to the loss of pressure of the green hydraulic system. The crew worked the related checklists and landed safely on Viracopos' runway 15 about 25 minutes after leaving FL390.
The aircraft remained on the ground in Sao Paulo for about 24.5 hours, then returned to service.
