BA-12 from Singapore (Singapore) to London Heathrow,EN (UK), was climbing out of Singapore when the crew stopped the climb at FL270 and decided to return to Singapore reporting the failure of their weather radars. The aircraft burned off fuel and landed safely back in Singapore about 5:20 hours after departure.
The flight was cancelled.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Singapore about 19 hours after landing.
A passenger reported the crew announced their weather radars had failed.
