An Air Canada Airbus A330-300, registration C-GFAF performing flight
AC-823 from Barcelona,SP (Spain) to Montreal,QC (Canada), was enroute at FL380 about 680nm west of Lisbon (Portugal) when the crew received a "BLUE HYD RSVR OVERHEAT" message. The crew completed the related checklist but then received the message "HYD B SYS LOW PR" message. The crew consulted with dispatch and maintenance and decided to return to Barcelona, the crew declared PAN PAN and landed on Barcelona's runway 24R about 2:20 hours later.
Canada's TSB reported maintenance replaced the blue hydraulic engine driven pump and the blue EDP case drain filter element.
