An Air Canada Boeing 737-8 MAX, registration C-GEKZ performing flight AC-395 from Quebec City,QC to Vancouver,BC (Canada), was enroute at FL300 about 120nm eastnortheast of Calgary,AB (Canada) when the crew received an IAS DISAGREE message. The crew worked the related checklist, determined the captain's IAS indicator was in error, declared Mayday and decided to divert to Calgary, where the aircraft landed safely about 30 minutes later.

The Canada TSB reported that maintenance replaced the pitot tube, pitot static probe, Air Data and Inertial Reference Unit and the total air temperature probe. The fault and troubleshooting investigation is ongoing.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Calgary standing Mar 16th 2024.
