An Air Canada Boeing 787-9, registration C-FNOH performing flight
AC-2340 from San Antonio,TX (USA) to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 2 crew, was enroute at FL360 about 400nm northeast of San Antonio when the crew received "Nitrogen Generation System" (NGS) and "Slat Position Sensor" Status messages. The crew consulted with maintenance and decided to return to San Antonio where the aircraft landed safely about 2 hours after departure.
The Canadian TSB reported maintenance replaced the NGS valve actuator and left hand leading edge transducer.
