DL-1435 from Milwaukee,WI to Atlanta,GA (USA) with 199 passengers and 6 crew, was on approach to Atlanta when the crew received an unsafe nose gear indication and aborted the approach. The aircraft entered a holding for about an hour, performed a low approach to Atlanta's runway 27R, which confirmed the nose gear was down, and landed safely on runway 27R about 25 minutes after the low approach and about 90 minutes after aborting the first approach.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Atlanta about 22 hours after landing.
The airline reported the aircraft suffered a potential gear problem and was towed off the runway.
