An Air Dolomiti Embraer ERJ-195, registration I-ADJS performing flight EN-8218 from Munich (Germany) to Bari (Italy) with 107 passengers and 5 crew, was climbing out of Munich when the crew stopped the climb at FL150 due to problems with the slats. About 40nm south of Munich about to cross into Austrian Airspace the crew decided to turn around and return to Munich. The crew advised they didn't need a block altitude. The aircraft landed safely on Munich's runway 26L about 30 minutes after departure.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Munich for about 43 hours before returning to service.
