U2-8520 from Funchal (Portugal) to London Gatwick,EN (UK), was on approach to Gatwick's runway 26L when the crew declared PAN PAN reporting a bird strike. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 26L.
The aircraft returned to service about 29 hours after landing.
