An Easyjet Airbus A320-200, registration G-EZRX performing flight
U2-2152 from Istanbul (Turkey) to Manchester,EN (UK) with 185 people on board, was enroute at FL360 about 150nm eastsoutheast of Cologne (Germany) when the captain decided to divert to Cologne reporting the first officer had become incapacitated with severe stomach pain. The aircraft landed safely on Cologne's runway 32R about 27 minutes later. The first officer was taken to a hospital, food poisoning was suspected.
The passengers remained on board while a replacement pilot was dispatched, the aircraft continued the flight and reached Manchester with a delay of about 5 hours.
