An Eurowings Airbus A319-100, registration D-ABGP performing flight
EW-9440 from Dusseldorf (Germany) to Barcelona,SP (Spain), was enroute at FL330 about 100nm northnortheast of Toulouse (France) when the crew declared emergency and diverted to Toulouse for a safe landing on runway 32L about 25 minutes after leaving FL330.
Germany's BFU reported in cruise flight the APU failed, the aircraft diverted to Toulouse after emergency was declared. The BFU supports the foreign investigation authority (editorial note: the French BEA currently has no indication of an investigation into this occurrence).
