AI802 - Incident: India A320 at Thiruvananthapuram on May 25th 2024

An Air India Airbus A320-200, registration VT-EXD performing flight AI-802 from Thiruvananthapuram to Delhi (India) with 140 people, was climbing out of runway 32 when a bird impacted the left hand engine (CFM56) prompting the crew to stop the climb at 9000 feet and return to Thiruvananthapuram about 50 minutes after departure.
The flight was cancelled.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Thiruvananthapuram about 74 hours (3 days 2 hours) after landing back.
