An InterCaribbean Avions de Transport ATR-42-500, registration VQ-TRS performing flight
JY-713 from Dominica (Dominca) to Bridgetown (Barbados), was climbing out of Dominica's runway 09 when the crew stopped the climb at 4000 feet and returned to Dominica for a safe landing on runway 27 about 17 minutes after departure.
Passengers reported the aircraft suffered problems with one of the engines (PW121A).
The flight was cancelled.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Dominica about 22 hours after landing back.
