An Intercaribbean Embraer ERJ-145, registration VQ-TLR performing flight
JY-798 from Bridgetown (Barbados) to Antigua (Antigua), was climbing out of Bridgetown's runway 09 when the crew stopped the climb at about 7000 feet and decided to return to Bridgetown for a safe landing on runway 09 about 15 minutes after departure.
A passenger reported the aircraft was delayed for about 75 minutes before it finally departed, when shortly after departure the enignes spooled down. The captain announced they had a faulty sensor. Two fire engines awaited the aircraft on landing. The passengers were rebooked onto flights via Dominica the following day.
