A Jetblue Airbus A320-200, registration N586JB performing flight B6-1844 from Bridgetown (Barbados) to Boston,MA (USA) with 47 people on board, was climbing out of Bridgetown's runway 09 when the crew stopped the climb at 4000 feet reporting they were a Mayday Aircraft, "they had so many ... (illegible) they were unable to tell what is going on with the airplane." Subsequently the crew advised they still had some failure and needed vectors to return to runway 09 and further advised they had so many lights they couldn't tell what is going on amongst them they had an engine generator failure light, the generator seemed to be working however and two more significant lights, they were unable to provide more information to ATC. They were still working the checklists and still didn't know what was going on. They were still wanting to get down to their landing weight before coming back in. Shortly afterwards they reported ready for the approach and performed a RNP approach to runway 09 for a safe landing on runway 09 about 17 minutes after departure and taxied to the apron.

The flight was cancelled.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Bridgetown on Jun 7th 2024 about 60 hours (2 days 12 hours) after landing back.
