A KLM Boeing 787-9, registration PH-BHA performing flight KL-862 from Tokyo Narita (Japan) to Amsterdam (Netherlands), was climbing out of Tokyo when the crew stopped the climb at FL250 due to the captain's cracked windshield. The aircraft dumped fuel and returned to Tokyo for a safe landing about one hour after stopping the climb.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Tokyo about 13 hours after landing back.
