KL-1831 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Stuttgart (Germany), was climbing out of Amsterdam's runway 18L when the crew stopped the climb at FL100 reporting an unusual smell on board. The aircraft returned to Amsterdam for a safe landing on runway 18C about 16 minutes after departure.
