A Lufthansa Airbus A320-200N, registration D-AINY performing flight LH-1326 from Frankfurt/Main (Germany) to Tunis (Tunisia), departed Frankfurt's runway 18, climbed to FL370 and completed a seemingly uneventful flight with a safe landing on Tunis' runway 19 about 2 hours after departure.

A post flight inspection revealed evidence of a bird strike, the return flight LH-1327 (Jun 30th) needed to be cancelled. The passengers for the return flight were rebooked onto flight LH-1323, which departed about 10 hours after scheduled departure of LH-1327.

The occurrence flight is still on the ground in Tunis about 18 hours after landing.
