A Lufthansa Cityline Airbus A319-100, registration D-AIBP performing flight
LH-1814 from Munich (Germany) to Barcelona,SP (Spain), was enroute at FL390 about 230nm southwest of Munich when the crew decided to return to Munich reporting the failure of their weather radar. The aircraft landed safely back on Munich's runway 26L about 80 minutes after departure.
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 19 hours, then returned to service, but suffered the same problem again another day later, see Incident: Lufthansa A319 near Munich on Jan 15th 2023, failure of weather radar.
