A Norwegian Air Shuttle Boeing 737-800, registration LN-ENT performing flight DY-1050 from Oslo (Norway) to Gdansk (Poland), was enroute at FL370 about 110nm east of Gothenburg when the crew decided to divert to Gothenburg reporting a smoke indication on board. The aircraft landed safely on Gothenburg's runway 21 about 20 minutes later. Emergency services did not find any trace of fire, heat or smoke, a defective smoke detector is being suspected.

A replacement Boeing 737-8 MAX registration LN-FGJ reached Gdansk with a delay of about 7 hours.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 7 hours, then positioned back to Oslo.
