A Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration TC-AIS performing flight
PC-1281 from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen (Turkey) to Stockholm (Sweden), was climbing out of Sabiha Gokcen's runway 24R when the crew stopped the climb at FL140 after receiving a lightning strike. The aircraft entered a hold and returned to Sabiha Gokcen for a safe landing on runway 24R about 70 minutes after departure.
A replacement Airbus A320-200N registration TC-NCG reached Stockholm with a delay of about 3.5 hours.
The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 19 hours before returning to service.
