A SAS Connect Airbus A320-200N, registration EI-SIG performing flight SK-1817 from Stockholm (Sweden) to Malaga,SP (Spain) with 175 passengers and 6 crew, was on final approach to runway 12 descending through about 2600 feet MSL when the crew received a TCAS resolution advisory and initiated a go around climbing to 7000 feet. The aircraft positioned for another approach to runway 12 and landed without further incident about 15 minutes after the go around.

Spain's CIAIAC reported two fire fighting aircraft were heading towards Cartama heliport to refill with water and fire retardant during fire fighting efforts at Cadiz. The aircraft entered the control zone without being able to establish radio communication. As result, the separation between the aircraft reduced to 0 feet vertical and 0.8nm horizontal. The A320 crew initiated a go around as result of the TCAS RA, all aircraft continued to their destinations without further incident. The CIAIAC have opened an investigation.
