A SAS Scandinavian Airlines Airbus A350-900, registration SE-RSF performing flight
SK-983 from Copenhagen (Denmark) to Tokyo Haneda (Japan), was enroute at FL370 about 100nm northwest of Krakov (Poland) when the crew needed to shut their right hand engine (Trent XWB) down due to a low oil pressure indication. The aircraft drifted down to FL220 and returned to Copenhagen for a safe landing on runway 22L about 2 hours after departure.
A listener on frequency reported the crew declared PAN PAN and reported the crew had shut down the right hand engine.
The rotation was cancelled.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Copenhagen about 27 hours after landing back.
